Chris Roby is a dedicated legal professional and co-founder of Athlete Asset Protection PLLC, where he is passionate about safeguarding the futures of athletes in the dynamic landscape of NIL, sports and entertainment law. Chris brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his mission. Alongside his wife Gabriela, Chris is a proud father of four married daughters and a doting grandfather to eight grandkids. His family is his anchor, inspiring him daily in both his personal and professional pursuits. Chris earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) in 2014, marking the beginning of his legal career. Over the past six years, he has played a pivotal role at Crown Castle, a leading telecommunications REIT known for its expansive portfolio of cell towers across the U.S. In his role, Chris leads a team tasked with reviewing leases, securing new land, amending existing agreements, and providing collocatable cell phone towers to ensure seamless wireless communication. What began as a dream in 2014 has transformed into reality. On October 10th, 2024, Chris partnered with Chad to launch Athlete Asset Protection PLLC, serving as registered NIL representatives and managers. Chris is driven by the principle of integrity, always prioritizing ethical practices, whether delivering good or bad news. He ensures that both he and his clients navigate the complexities of athlete eligibility with the utmost care. “We work hard to ensure we don’t impact, or allow others to impact, in a negative way, any athlete’s eligibility. “These are the guys you want in your corner!” Chris is thrilled to see his dream come to fruition: “Chad and I started this dream with words 11 years ago, and finally it has happened.” For Chris, this journey is just beginning, and he looks forward to empowering athletes to achieve their full potential inside, and outside, of sports.

Chad Bennett is a prolific serial entrepreneur known for his diverse business ventures and unwavering commitment to his community. As the owner of two successful construction companies and a construction delivery service, Chad has established himself as a key player in the industry. In addition to his construction endeavors, he has a passion for memorabilia and the sports card business, reflecting his lifelong love for sports.
Beyond his business pursuits, Chad is deeply invested in his community. He serves on the City of Scottsdale Building Advisory Board, where he contributes his expertise to shaping the future of local development. Chad is also a strong advocate for various nonprofit organizations, regularly donating his time and resources to support causes that matter to him.
Family is at the heart of Chad's life. He is married to Nicole, and together they share a blended family that includes his daughter Meadow, a talented former child actress known for her appearances in numerous national commercials and on Disney. Chad is no stranger to Agents, Managers and Agency negotiations. Chad’s energetic six-year-old stepson, Jamison, who keeps him active with football and basketball. Jamison is still holding out from signing with Athlete Asset Protection! HA!

Chad's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age, with an early knack for the hustle that saw him selling dead batteries and coupons to family members. In junior high, he expanded his business endeavors by selling candy and baseball cards—activities that were not always permitted! His drive led him to knock on doors for odd jobs like washing cars and pulling weeds. At just 20 years old, after a brief stint playing JUCO basketball, Chad founded his first company, driven by his relentless ambition.
Now pursuing his dream as a professional sports agent, Chad embodies persistence and determination. Fearless in the face of rejection, he approaches his work with a mindset that prioritizes hard work and a refusal to be out hustled. With a vast network of connections, largely stemming from family scattered throughout the United States, Chad continues to navigate and expand his professional journey, always with an eye on the next opportunity.
